Halloween weekend is over! The past few days were awesome to say the least...Stonybrook campus is poppin during Halloween...even moreso than on homecoming weekend, which is sad to say the least. Other schools have events and spirit for an entire week prior to homecoming and the only thing we really celebrate here is the one day and night of the game. I guess the difference is that our team sucks and other teams don't...that'd be a good reason to care about sports here, if we actually won.
I have always been into basketball; I have played it since I was in elementary school and have, for the most part, kept up on the current events in the NBA and NCAA. My brother Jesse went to Seton Hall and he instantly became a huge fan of the team and bought season tickets every year and still does to this day. I was hoping for a similar experience coming to Stonybrook but quickly realized that that was not happening.
Whatever, my girlfriend is awesome. =D
